How to add an email signature in Apple Mail on Mac
Apple Mail keeps a signature's formatting as long as one setting is turned off. Make your signature first, then follow these steps.
Steps
- 1
Copy your signature.
Open the signature maker - 2
In Mail, open Settings (Mail menu), then the Signatures tab.
- 3
Pick your account on the left and click + to add a signature.
- 4
Untick “Always match my default message font”.
- 5
Delete the sample text in the box on the right, then paste.
Good to know
- Pictures from the web may look blank in the settings window. They appear in the emails you send.
- Turning off “Always match my default message font” keeps your signature's fonts and colors.
